Slippery Travel from Minor Snow Accumulations This Morning... As of 215 AM Tuesday...steady light snow continues to fall early this morning across coastal Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, and will continue to do so through the Tuesday mid morning hours. Up to a couple inches of snow accumulation is expected, with slippery travel conditions possible due to the wet and greasy nature to the snow. Snow is expected to change to rain as temperatures gradually warm to above freezing by the mid to late morning hours. If traveling this morning, drive at reduced speeds on snow covered roads and plan extra time to reach your destination safely.
