...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO NOON
EST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, mixed precipitation.
Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice
accumulations of a light glaze. For the Wind Chill Advisory,
very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 5 to 15
below zero.
* WHERE...Bland, Wythe, Carroll and Floyd Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST this
morning. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 5 PM this afternoon
to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The
cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions
are not taken.
