WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EV00ENING
TO 11 AM MST THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches.
* WHERE...Southern Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent foothills and
plains.
* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 AM MST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire
chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry
should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may
want to consider alternate plans.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow develops tonight and continues
through Wednesday with periods of moderate to locally heavy snow
developing late Wednesday and Wednesday night. In addition colder
temperatures and gusty north winds could create additional wind
chill and travel hazards Wednesday night through Thursday morning.
