* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total
snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher
amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. For the
Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind
chills around 25 below zero. For the Wind Chill Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills possible. Wind chills as low as
10 below zero.
* WHERE...Keya Paha, Boyd, Rock and Holt Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 AM Thursday to
6 AM CST Friday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM
Thursday to noon CST Friday. For the Wind Chill Watch, from
Friday evening through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The
cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as
little as 30 minutes.
