HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST
TONIGHT...
* WHAT...East winds 40 to 55 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
expected this evening.
* WHERE...Downtown Juneau and Douglas.
* WHEN...Until midnight AKST Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and
may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be
difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lulls in the winds are possible, but higher
winds aloft will make their way down to the surface once again
this evening. It is possible that the high winds may last past
midnight.
