* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Total snow
accumulation 4 to 7 inches with localized amounts around 8 to 10
inches across extreme northwest Highland County. Northwest winds
gusting as high as 30 to 40 mph this afternoon through Sunday
morning. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills
expected. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero.
* WHERE...Western Highland County.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Saturday.
For the Wind Chill Advisory, from midnight tonight to 10 AM
EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
will impact the evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
