AN AREA OF HEAVIER SNOW OCCURRING ACROSS THE AREA... As of 1030 AM, doppler radar and surface observations show an area of moderate to occasionally heavy snow moving across the area. This is mostly centered along the Interstate 95 corridor from Wilmington to Philadelphia to Trenton. Spotter reports indicate that snowfall rates of 0.5 to 1 inches per hour are occurring. This will significantly reduce the visibility to one half of a mile to occasionally as low as one quarter of a mile. If traveling, be prepared for significantly reduced visibility and slippery conditions. Roadways can become quickly snow covered especially when untreated, and use extra caution on bridges and overpasses.
