WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Snow showers, some with locally heavy bursts of snow with quick accumulations around a coating to an inch. Total snow accumulation 2 to 5 inches. * WHERE...Portions of north central and western Maryland, central, northwest and western Virginia and eastern and panhandle West Virginia. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavier bursts of snow in snow showers will briefly reduce visibility to around one-quarter mile and quickly cover surfaces through early this evening. Be prepared for rapidly changing situations when driving through the evening commute.
