For the Charles River...including Dover...Minor flooding is forecast. ...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Charles River at Dover. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, People living along the Charles River should prepare for flooding of low lying areas along the river. Susceptible locations include low lying areas along Fisher Street in Needham and a small area on the South Natick and Wellesley line along River Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EST Saturday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EST Saturday was 5.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.3 feet this afternoon.
