ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Significant icing expected. Total snow accumulations of
up to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to three
tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph Stevenson
westward.
* WHERE...In Oregon, Upper Hood River Valley, Western Columbia
River Gorge and Central Columbia River Gorge. In Washington,
Western Columbia River Gorge and Central Columbia River Gorge.
* WHEN...Through 4 PM PST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Expect power outages and tree damage due to the ice.
Travel could be very difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ice accumulation currently lingering on
trees, powerlines, untreated roads and untreated sidewalks will
not have a chance to melt prior to the onset of the next round
of freezing rain expected Saturday afternoon into Sunday
afternoon. As a result, any additional ice accumulation will
further increase the risk of downed trees and powerlines. Travel
impacts will continue along portions of I-84 and SR14 as well.
