A BRIEF WINTRY MIX IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY MORNING INTO EARLY
AFTERNOON ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...
As light shower activity begins to move into the region this
morning from the south and west, isolated areas across the
southern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country may briefly see light
rain, freezing drizzle, or sleet fall when surface temperatures
are still freezing. With temperatures warming above freezing by
this afternoon and the spotty nature of any freezing or frozen
precipitation, no significant travel impacts are expected, and any
minor ice accumulations would be short-lived and limited to
elevated or exposed objects that can cool to the temperature of
the surrounding air.
