HEAVY SNOW ACROSS THE CENTRAL PANHANDLE...
.Snowfall rates are increasing across the central panhandle Sunday
morning, causing the onset time of statements to begin earlier.
This results in a longer duration snowfall and thus higher total
accumulations. Dry snow will become wetter through the event with
southern areas transitioning to rain. For northern areas, it is
possible that snow lasts longer Monday night.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Storm total snow accumulations of 18 to 22
inches. Areas of blowing snow near Downtown Juneau.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to increase in water
content through Monday, becoming increasingly heavy and wet.
