For the Kankakee River...including Shelby...elevated river levels are forecast. ...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE... * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues. * WHERE...Kankakee River from Near I-65 and De Motte downstream to IL/IN state line, including the Shelby gauge. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...Flooding of low-lying overbank and forest areas between the Illinois Indiana state line and Shelby. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CST Sunday the stage was 9.5 feet.
