FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST THIS MORNING... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Atascosa, Bexar, Comal and Medina. * WHEN...Until 800 AM CST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 443 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Live Oak, Selma, Devine, Castroville, San Antonio Int Airport, Canyon Lake Dam, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Shavano Park and Hollywood Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
