WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Snow accumulations up to 3 inches and ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch. * WHERE...Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hazardous travel. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A mix of freezing rain and snow also mixes with sleet at times with peak intensity during the morning commute. Activity transitions to primarily freezing rain during the morning south of I-96/696 while a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow continue to the north. Up to 3 inches of snow accumulation is most likely north of M-59. Temperatures rise above freezing while precipitation intensity decreases by mid afternoon.
