ABOVE 8,500 FEET...
A storm system will bring several waves of precipitation across
New Mexico today through Wednesday morning. Snow levels should
range from 7,000 to 7,500 feet today, then lower slightly by the
overnight hours. Light accumulations of a dusting to around one
inch can be expected below 7,500 feet, with one to four inches
likely above 8,500 feet, especially along the Continental Divide
and Sacramento Mountains. Locally higher amounts are expected on
mountain peaks.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly
changing visibilities and road conditions. Allow extra time to
reach your destination.
