FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, and north central Arkansas,
including the following counties, in central Arkansas, Faulkner,
Garland, Lonoke, Prairie, Pulaski, Saline and White. In eastern
Arkansas, Jackson, Lawrence, Monroe, Randolph and Woodruff. In
north central Arkansas, Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence,
Izard, Sharp and Stone.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An active weather pattern will lead to several rounds of
heavy rainfall through at least Wednesday evening. Additional
rainfall of 2-4 inches are expected with locally higher
amounts possible.
