WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Snow and freezing rain expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of one to two tenths of an inch. * WHERE...The northern Adirondacks, northern Champlain Valley, and eastern Vermont. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Isolated power outages are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be two rounds of winter precipitation. Snow will develop across the region from south to north this evening and tonight, leading to a slippery Wednesday morning commute. After a brief lull midday, precipitation returns as freezing rain Wednesday evening and continues into early Thursday morning before tapering off by midday.
