Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CST THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, Bexar, Dimmit, Frio, Medina and Zavala.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 231 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

San Antonio, Pearsall, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Devine,
Poteet, Castroville, Big Wells, Batesville, Stinson Municipal
Airport, Lytle, Somerset, Elmendorf, Natalia, Lacoste,
Asherton, North Pearsall, Moore, Bluff and Frio Town.
