AREAS OF FOG AND LOCALLY SLIPPERY ROADS WILL IMPACT TRAVEL
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...
Areas of fog, locally dense with visibilities of 1/4 mile or
less, will continue across the region through Thursday morning.
The fog may freeze on cold roads early this morning, and again
across northern and parts of central Wisconsin late tonight into
Thursday morning. Slippery roads and poor or rapidly changing
visibilities will result in locally hazardous travel conditions.
Air travel delays may also occur.
While most of the region will remain dry today, patchy freezing
drizzle may impact northern and parts of central Wisconsin late
tonight into Thursday morning. This will combine with freezing
fog to produce slippery spots on untreated roads.
Motorists should be alert for locally hazardous travel conditions
due to poor visibilities and slippery roads through Thursday
morning. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination,
especially during the morning commutes.
