Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

For the Saline River...including Benton, Rye...Minor flooding is
forecast.
...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Saline River at Benton.
* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Pastures along west bank will flood. There
may be some low lying county roads near the river flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 21.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening. Additional rainfall is in the expected later
this week. Continue to monitor latest forecasts for any
updates.
