Widespread Fog, Locally Dense...Potentially Slick Roadways This Morning... Fog is widespread across the area this morning, with visibilities generally around 2 miles or less. There are pockets of dense fog though, dropping visibilities to 1/4 mile. With temperatures hovering near freezing, untreated surfaces that look wet could actually be icy. Travelers through the morning hours should be on the look out for icy spots on roads and sidewalks. If it`s wet, it could be icy - plan accordingly. There will be some improvement in the visibility moving into the afternoon, but the fog will likely thicken back up tonight, repeating a similar scenario to this morning.
