FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON CST TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Alabama, including the following
areas, Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal, Mobile
Inland and Washington and southeast Mississippi, including the
following areas, George, Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne.
* WHEN...From noon CST today through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected across the
watch area through Thursday evening. Widespread rainfall
totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected, with locally higher
amounts of over 6 inches possible.
