Heavy Rainfall and Localized Flooding possible for portions of the Tennessee Valley... Moderate to heavy rainfall producing heavy rainfall near and west of the I-65 corridor, as well as in locations in southern middle Tennessee. One to three inches of rainfall has already fallen in these locations. Moderate to briefly heavy rainfall will continue over these areas through 6 PM producing up to an additional half to one inch of rainfall. This will likely ponding of water on area roadways and could produce isolated flooding as well. If rising water begins to approach your location, move to higher ground immediately. In addition, motorists should use caution, and be alert for ponding on area roadways. Slow down to avoid hydroplaning.
