PATCHY DENSE FOG CONTINUES... Patchy dense fog, reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less, will continue through the overnight along and near the I-85 corridor in upstate South Carolina. Motorists traveling across the area should be prepared for sudden deterioration in visibility. The dense fog is expected to steadily dissipate from the south through the night, and should lift in all areas by around sunrise. Slow down, use low-beam headlights and fog lamps, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you if dense fog is encountered.
