Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bastrop, Caldwell, De Witt, Fayette, Gonzales,
Guadalupe, Karnes, Lavaca, Lee and Wilson.
* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high
and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Moderate to heavy rain is possible through Thursday morning.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with isolated
amounts up to 3 inches. With already saturated soil, runoff
will be quick with any additional rainfall.
