Pockets of Freezing Rain and Icy Spots Possible Through the Overnight Hours... While temperatures in many locations have risen above freezing, some localized areas are still right around freezing. This could result in some continued pockets of freezing rain and icy spots through the remainder of the overnight hours, especially on any colder, untreated and elevated surfaces. Additional ice accumulations are only expected to be a thin glaze, but can still result in hazardous conditions. Precipitation will end between 4am and 6am and temperatures will continue to slowly rise early this morning, ending the threat for additional ice.
