FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Monroe and Noble and northern West Virginia, including the
following areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion,
Monongalia, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern
Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another period of rain will overspread the area later today
bringing around 1 inch of rain. Rain will act to melt snow in
the higher elevations, compounding flooding potential.
