FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following areas,
Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal, Mobile Inland,
Monroe, Washington and Wilcox and southeast Mississippi, including
the following areas, George, Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne.
* WHEN...Through this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected across the
watch area through this afternoon. Additional rainfall
amounts of up to 3 inches are expected, with locally higher
amounts possible.
