FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and prior/ongoing
snowmelt continues to be possible. Ice jams on area rivers may
also produce flooding.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Gallia, Jackson OH, Lawrence OH, Meigs, Morgan,
Vinton and Washington and West Virginia, including the following
counties, Barbour, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge,
Gilmer, Harrison, Jackson WV, Lewis, Mason, Northwest Nicholas,
Northwest Pocahontas, Northwest Randolph, Northwest Webster,
Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie, Roane, Southeast Nicholas, Southeast
Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, Southeast Webster, Taylor, Tyler,
Upshur, Wirt and Wood.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of rainfall moves through the area this
evening. Rain will be moderate to locally heavy at times.
Additional rainfall amounts of a half an inch up to one inch
remain possible for some locations.
