Patchy Dense Fog and Pockets of Freezing Drizzle Overnight...
With a moist air mass in place, areas of fog and drizzle have been
developing across the southern Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga
Region, southern Vermont and the Berkshires. Some of the fog may
be locally thick with visibility under one mile at times. If you
will be traveling overnight, be prepared for reduced visibility at
times.
In addition, temperatures across the higher elevations of the
Adirondacks, Greens and Berkshires are close to or just below the
freezing mark. Any fog or drizzle could be allowing for a thin
layer of ice to develop on any untreated surfaces, so keep in mind
that some slippery conditions are possible through the overnight
hours as well.
