FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of North Carolina, including the following areas,
Alleghany NC, Ashe, Caswell, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Watauga,
Wilkes and Yadkin and Virginia, including the following areas,
Alleghany VA, Amherst, Appomattox, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt,
Buckingham, Campbell, Carroll, Charlotte, Craig, Floyd, Franklin,
Giles, Grayson, Halifax, Henry, Montgomery, Patrick, Pittsylvania,
Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge and Wythe.
* WHEN...From 1 PM EST this afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
