Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Alabama, including the following
counties, Covington and Escambia and northwest Florida, including
the following counties, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa.
* WHEN...Until 1215 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1016 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
slow moving thunderstorms thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across portions of
the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area.

Milton, Bagdad, Baker, Roeville, Point Baker, Pea Ridge,
Munson, Kellys Mill, Cannon Town, Rock Creek, Holt, Galliver,
Floridale, Blackman, Indian Ford, Escambia Farms, Good Hope
