FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central Alabama, including the following counties, Covington and Escambia and northwest Florida, including the following counties, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa. * WHEN...Until 1215 PM CST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1016 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across portions of the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
