AFTERNOON FOR NORTHWESTERN OKALOOSA AND NORTHERN SANTA ROSA
COUNTIES...
At 1149 AM CST, Santa Rosa County 911 reported water covering the
road at Munson Highway and Highway 4 in Munson. Between 3 and 5
inches of rain have fallen in northeast Santa Rosa and northwest
Okaloosa Counties. While the heaviest rain has moved east of the
warned area, additional water rises and flash flooding remains
possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
