* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Alabama, including the following
county, Covington and northwest Florida, including the following
county, Okaloosa.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1114 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
slow moving thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
2 inches of rain have fallen over portions of northeast
Okaloosa and southeast Covington Counties. Heavy rain will
begin shortly in coastal Okaloosa County.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area.
