* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Virginia,
including the following areas, in central Virginia, Albemarle,
Central Virginia Blue Ridge, Greene, Nelson, Orange and
Spotsylvania. In northern Virginia, Central and Southeast Prince
William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Culpeper, Northern Fauquier,
Northwest Prince William, Southern Fauquier and Stafford. In
northwest Virginia, Madison, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge and
Rappahannock.
* WHEN...From 10 PM EST this evening through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of moderate to locally heavy rainfall coupled
with increased upstream snow melt into the area watersheds.
6-hour rain totals could easily reach 1 inch in many spots.
Expected storm totals range from 1.50 to 2.00 inches.
