FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM EST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Virginia, including the following county and independent city, City of Danville and Pittsylvania. * WHEN...Until 130 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 929 PM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in spots across the county. - This includes the following streams and drainages...
