FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Virginia, including the following areas,
Albemarle, Augusta, Central Virginia Blue Ridge, Central and
Southeast Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Culpeper, Eastern
Highland, Greene, Madison, Nelson, Northern Fauquier, Northern
Virginia Blue Ridge, Northwest Prince William, Orange, Page,
Rappahannock, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Southern Fauquier,
Spotsylvania, Stafford, Warren and Western Highland and eastern
West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Pendleton
and Western Pendleton.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Saturated soils combined with moderate to locally heavy
rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches could result in areas of
flooding. 6-hour rainfall totals could exceed 1 inch in many
spots early Sunday morning.
