.Rainfall of 1 to 2.50 inches fell across much of the Dan and
Roanoke River basins. This has resulted in minor flooding or near
minor flooding at several points along the lower portion of the Dan
and Roanoke Rivers. This flooding will continue into the early part
of this week.
For the Roanoke River...including Roanoke, Sandy Level, Altavista,
Brookneal, Randolph...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Dan River...including Wentworth, the sewage treatment plant
near Danville, Paces, South Boston...Minor flooding is forecast.
