For the Cacapon River...including Great Cacapon...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Cacapon River near Great Cacapon.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Kilgore Road is flooded in multiple spots.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM EST Monday the stage was 10.6 feet, or 1.6 feet
above flood stage.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:30 AM EST Monday was 10.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 10.7 feet this morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening to 4.3
feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will rise to 4.4 feet
Wednesday evening. It will then fall again and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.7 feet on 03/24/1993.
