following rivers in Ohio...Indiana...
Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting Allen IN,
Defiance and De Kalb Counties.
.Snow melt followed by heavy rain has resulted in rising water on
area rivers.
For the Saint Joseph River Ohio...including Newville...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb
County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable
agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph
River to the Cedarville Reservoir.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 AM EST Monday the stage was 13.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:45 AM EST Monday was 13.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0
