CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR SNOW-COVERED ROADWAYS AND
REDUCED VISIBILITIES FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE...
WEATHER...
* A burst of snow will continue to impact southeast Michigan
through the remainder of the morning commute.
* Snowfall rates approaching an inch per hour have been observed
with snowfall reports of 2 to locally 3 inches.
* Additional snow accumulations north of I-96 around an inch.
South of I-96 additional accumulations up to 2 inches.
* South winds around 10 mph with gusts to 15 mph.
* Air temperature will remain steady around 32 degrees.
IMPACTS...
* Accumulating snow will lead to slippery roads particularly on
bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.
* Visibility reductions to less than one mile. There may be rapid
fluctuations in visibility.

* The combination of snow and cold temperatures will result in
localized slippery conditions and variable traffic rates
throughout the county. Motorists are urged to use caution and
