FLOOD ADVISORY FOR AN ICE JAM IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of north central Illinois, including the following counties, northern Lee and southern Ogle. * WHEN...Until 1045 AM CST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 856 AM CST, An ice jam was reported on the Rock River near Lowell Park. Ice spotter reports flooding upstream of this jam near the White Oaks Subdivision west of Grand Detour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... areas along the Rock River upstream of Lowell Park, including areas in and near Grand Detour. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
