FLOOD ADVISORY FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues. * WHERE...A portion of north central Illinois, including the following counties, Lee and Ogle. * WHEN...Until 1045 AM CST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 754 PM CST, Ice spotters reported an ice jam on the Rock River near Lowell Park. Minor flooding is occurring upstream of this jam near the White Oaks Subdivision west of Grand Detour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... areas along the Rock River upstream of Lowell Park, including areas in and near Grand Detour. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
