Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake (IL) County.
Iroquois River at Iroquois affecting Iroquois and Newton Counties.
Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Newton and Lake (IN) Counties.
...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from the IL/WI state line downstream to
US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is
inundated near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CST, Wednesday the stage was 7.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and will continue to fall
thereafter.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
