IMPACTFUL SNOW CONTINUES INTO THE WEEKEND...
.Widespread moderate precipitation continues across the NE gulf
coast and majority of the panhandle. With cold air in place,
precipitation started as snow before gradually transitioning to a
mix as the surface front turns winds more southerly and brings up
surface temperatures. Any stalling of the surface front for the
Icy Strait corridor or northern inner channels will lead to later
transition to more a more rain heavy mix, resulting in greater
storm total snow accumulation overnight and into Saturday. Stay

inches.

conditions could impact the evening commute.
