At 944 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of New Tazewell, or 12 miles north of Maynardville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rogersville, Sneedville, New Tazewell, Bean Station, Tazewell, Springdale, Lone Mountain, Howard Quarter, Thorn Hill, and Evanston.
