You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
Rain will transition to snow later tonight from northwest to
southeast across eastern Kentucky. The snow could come down
moderate at times causing brief travel impacts during the early
morning hours of Tuesday. Though accumulations most places will
be less than an inch - the variable intensity of the snow showers
will allow for a few isolated locations to see more than an inch
of slushy accumulation. Warm road and ground temperatures will
limit the impacts of any snowfall. The snow moves out to the east
by daybreak.
