For the Flint River Basin...including Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Peachtree City, Americus, Lovejoy, Woolsey, Sharpsburg, Peachtree City, Peachtree City, Senoia, Griffin, Orchard Hill, Griffin, Molena, Thomaston, Carsonville, Montezuma, Byromville...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EST Monday the stage was 27.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EST Monday was 27.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0 feet tomorrow evening.
