Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville affecting Pulaski and
Bleckley Counties.
For the Ocmulgee River Basin...including Hawkinsville...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 26 feet, Moderate flooding begins...with several
homes surrounded by flood waters and at least 3 homes begin
flooding near Gooseneck Lane and RiverView Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 AM EST Friday the stage was 26.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 AM EST Friday was 26.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.8
feet early tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.8 feet on 02/23/2020.
