The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia... Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville affecting Pulaski and Bleckley Counties. For the Ocmulgee River Basin...including Hawkinsville...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 26 feet, Moderate flooding begins...with several homes surrounded by flood waters and at least 3 homes begin flooding near Gooseneck Lane and RiverView Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM EST Friday the stage was 26.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:00 AM EST Friday was 26.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 20 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 27.8 feet on 02/23/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
